I have always loved writing and crafting a compelling story. I worked in the Office of the CEO at BlackRock for several years, managing both the CEO and the firm’s narrative, and I understand how to appeal to a professional audience while finding space for personality and passion to shine through. I managed my own MBA application process and was admitted to Stanford, Harvard, and Wharton. I received feedback from the admissions counselors at each school and was able to overcome weaknesses in my application through my storytelling and interview skills. I’ve helped clients, friends and peers navigate the process including everything from time management and confidence building to narrative crafting and storytelling. The MBA process is incredibly unique and difficult, and I am excited to help people find their voice and stand out amongst a crowd!

After initially being unsuccessful in my applications, I reapplied and secured admission to Harvard Business School (HBS) – without the help of a consultant. Through significant effort and independent research, I gained the insights needed to stand out. Looking back, having a mentor like myself – someone who understands the process and how to succeed – would have made the journey far more efficient. I hold a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Warwick, an MPhil in Development Economics from Jesus College, University of Cambridge, and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School. As a non-traditional candidate, I became a diplomat at just 25 and served in five High Commissions and Embassies, giving me a unique perspective on navigating the admissions process outside the traditional MBA applicant pool. Over the years, I have mentored numerous aspiring MBA candidates, guiding them through every step of the process, from crafting outstanding applications to excelling in interviews. My proven strategies, built on real-world experience and a track record of success, equip me to help candidates from all backgrounds achieve their MBA aspirations. Despite being from an overrepresented demographic, I managed to get accepted into all three programs that I applied for (INSEAD, Oxford, and Berkeley). Additionally, I had major financial and time constraints because I already had 2 children (at the age of 28!) before applying to business school. I'm not a naturally good test-taker so I had to be both efficient and creative to pull this off. I was able to get into these programs because I'm strategic, resourceful, and know how to craft a story with the audience in mind. I have a lot of experience teaching/training and am excited to help you craft your story and demonstrate to admission committees that you are unique and that you have a lot of value to add to their programs.
