That’s sales too—just in a different uniform. Before all that, I was a nationally ranked wrestler, competing at Duke and Blair Academy. I've been in SaaS/tech sales for over 9 years, since graduating from my MBA. I have worked my way up the sales ladder - from making cold calls as a BDR in my first job out of high school to leading multi-million dollar, strategic sales cycles with Fortune 500 executives. What makes me stand out is I am a current, practicing AE working in the trenches every day and face many of the same challenges you do on a day to day basis. My methods and perspectives are fresh, relevant, and battle tested daily. I am currently an enterprise account executive at Salesforce and have consistently achieved an average of 140% quota attainment over my nearly 6 year tenure there with multiple Presidents Club awards. I have helped 20+ individuals land sales roles at Salesforce and other premier SaaS companies. I've also mentored 10+ BDRs and helped them land their first account executive roles! While neither of these achievements are a direct measure of my role, they have been some of the most fulfilling and proud moments of my career. I was then an SDR, then a Small Business Account Executive, a Mid-Market Account Executive, and finally a Strategic Account Executive. Through my time, I earned President's Club (top performers) every year I was eligible. I was also featured in Salesforce's "Story of Sales" film alongside industry giants and Harvard Business School professors. While I am no longer in Sales, I am now a People Partner supporting Sales, and thus interface with the Sales org daily. Seasoned tech sales professional with 7+ years of experience in FAANG and other Fortune 500 companies. Currently, I’m working as a Strategic Account Executive at Instacart. I moved to Canada about 10 years ago with no friends, family or professional network and little direction on career development.
