I personally gained admission to 12 out of the 14 Top 20 universities I applied to—including Stanford, Vanderbilt, UC Berkeley, UCLA, and more—giving me firsthand insight into what it takes to craft a competitive application. Through my work as a transfer mentor and developing a platform to reach many students, I have successfully guided 62 (and counting) students in developing compelling applications, refining personal statements, and securing admission to top universities. I received multiple scholarships for every year of my undergraduate experience, and am passionate about making college accessible to students from all backgrounds. Having worked on high education projects for Bain & Company, as an education policy consultant at the Gates Foundation, and as an ESL teacher for years I have a holistic view of the high education sector and what it takes to position yourself as a successful applicant.

As a University of Chicago graduate with a degree in Economics and an MBA candidate at The Wharton School, I bring a wealth of experience and insight into the college admissions process. I graduated from Stanford and was admitted to a number of other top schools including Yale, Brown, and Columbia. Since graduating I have informally advised a number of students applying, helping them to craft stories that are powerful and true to themselves. I have particular experience with supporting on essay writing and editing.

As a former Harvard Admissions Officer, Berkeley Application Reader, College Counselor (at a top 5 independent school in the US), and a Coca-Cola Scholar Application Reader, I have read 1000s of applications and helped 100s of students through the admissions process.

I have a unique blend of experience and skills that make me a very strong admissions consultant. First, I have spent over 20 years in various senior management roles in marketing, product marketing and business development giving me a strong set of marketing and branding skills that are essential for any candidate to stand out. Second, I am a very strong writer and had publications published in various journals. That allows me to help applicants craft a strong, unique, differentiated and very well written story across all of the applications. Third, as a graduate of top schools such as Northwestern and Stanford I have had personal success in getting into top institutions and can speak from experience not just theory. I have also been an undergraduate admissions interviewer for Stanford admissions for 5 years, gaining valuable admissions qualifications experience. Finally I am very customer focused and task driven and always give a 100% effort to make sure my clients get the best results.

I have had 4 years of admissions coaching with both domestic and international students. Prior to coaching, I had 4 years of graduate admissions experience as a recruiter, director and regional director of admissions for multiple universities. I have helped students to achieve their goal of receiving acceptances at elite universities and private institutions such as Brigham Young University.
