Hello! I am a current MBA candidate at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. I offer a fresh perspective on the MBA application process – I recently underwent the MBA application journey and found success with multiple M7 acceptances while coming from a traditional, overrepresented applicant background. Regardless of an applicant’s hard stats, a successful MBA application requires a compelling story, powerful essays, and a polished resume, crafted via rigorous introspection of one’s experiences, strengths, and gaps. I spent 5+ years in the biotech / pharma world before getting my MBA / MPH at Haas. While I was there, I was involved in many different clubs and activities, but I believe two of them make me a great choice for MBA admissions coaching. First, I was a member of the Story Salon coaching team, a hand-selected group of students that prepare members of the Haas community to tell their story in front of 250+ of their classmates. We work 1:1 with students for weeks to prepare them to authentically tell their own story in a way that will best resonate with the audience according to their goals. I believe that the key to getting admitted to a top 10 MBA program is just that, being able to tell your story in the best way possible and tailoring it to each individual school you're applying to. Second, I served as the Head of Careers for the Haas Healthcare Association, helping students find opportunities within the healthcare world and preparing them for their job search needs. Through this I have worked with many students to help refine their target company lists, resumes, cover letters, and interview prep strategies. Similar to story salon coaching, I learned to very specifically work with others to tailor their application materials for what the company or role they were looking for. I found coaching to be one of the best and most rewarding parts of my time at Haas and would love to work with you!

I grew up in Russia and I had the privilege of studying at the Higher School of Economics, where I graduated with honors. My career began at EY - Transaction Advisory Services in Moscow, where I juggled a demanding full-time job with a full-time master’s program. In 2017, my work paid off with an international transfer to EY Boston. By 2022, I had realized a dream by joining the MBA program at Harvard Business School. Beyond my professional life, I’ve spent the last 15 years mentoring students in Moscow and Boston through UStrive, and engaging in social consulting projects with non-profits in Boston.

As a Product Manager at Microsoft, I bring a unique perspective to MBA coaching. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where I was a College Honors Merit Scholar and a Grace Hopper Scholar. As a college senior, I applied and was admitted to top business schools across the country, including Wharton, MIT Sloan, and Columbia Business School.
