Background: I am a graduate of Harvard College, where I majored in Cultural Anthropology and studied Spanish, Korean, and Japanese. As the oldest son of immigrant parents from Japan and Mexico, and the first in my family to graduate from college, I understand the socioeconomic and cultural barriers many students face in pursuing their educational, professional, and personal goals. For over 17 years, I have been dedicated to supporting students and families from all backgrounds in strategically overcoming many of these challenges. During my undergraduate years, I lived and studied abroad in Seoul, South Korea; Bangalore, India; Cape Town, South Africa; and Buenos Aires, Argentina, focusing on sustainable development, urbanization, culture, politics, and history. I have since traveled to 36 countries and 46 U.S. states, broadening my global perspective. While at Harvard, I was actively involved in intramural sports, cultural organizations such as RAZA and Fuerza, and educational non-profits. My passion lies in empowering students to make a meaningful impact in their communities. Track Record: Since 2011, I have worked directly with hundreds of high school students and spoken to thousands more across every continent, helping them navigate the U.S. college admissions process. My advising has led to successful admissions at top institutions, including Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Yale, UC Berkeley, the University of Chicago, and many others. Professional Experience: I worked at the Harvard Admissions Office as an HFAI and UMRP coordinator for four years and continue to interview prospective students as a Harvard alumni interviewer for the Southwest Region of the United States. After graduating, I joined Google in Mountain View, CA, where I focused on applicant resume reviews, interviews, performance evaluations, and various projects across engineering and sales teams. My post-Google experience includes work with non-profits in healthcare, tech, and business, as well as a local Mathnasium center. 10 years ago I was going through the college application process and felt entirely alone. Fortunately, I found Questbridge and was able to highlight my story to receive admission to Rice University (and various other schools). At Rice, I served on the Admissions Committee and conducted 50+ Admissions interviews, working directly with their team to identify top candidates for Rice.

Wesley graduated from ACS Independent, Singapore, with a perfect 45/45 Points in the IB Diploma exams, excelling in Higher Level Physics, Mathematics, and Economics. He also achieved a 99th percentile score on the ACT, including a perfect 12/12 in ACT Writing. Wesley has mentored over 30 students from prestigious institutions like ACS Independent, ACS International, SOTA, SJI, and international students from France, the US, Germany, and Ecuador. He founded Consultation Corner, a non-profit organization that provides mentorship to IB students, and initiated tutoring programs for underprivileged youths at Clementi Wishing Well and Heartfriends. As the Head of Education & Career Guidance (ECG) at SGExams, Singapore’s largest online student society, Wesley founded pathfinding.exams.sg, an innovative integrated ECG platform that has benefited countless students. Additionally, as the Country Director of the ASEAN Youth Organization (AYO), he charted annual strategies and helmed outreach efforts, increasing the volunteer pool from 10 to over 40 youths, significantly impacting the regional community. Wesley's leadership extends to the Mathematics Competition Team Executive Committee, where he has earned top awards in international and regional competitions, including Distinction at the British Maths Olympiad, Prize Award at the Australian Intermediate Maths Olympiad, and Gold at the Singapore & Asian Schools Maths Olympiad.
