Custom coaching within the number of hours you purchase. Great for MBA applicants who are are self-driven but want a strong start, or those on a limited budget. Reduced pricing for purchases of 7+ hours. **Sample use of 2hrs: deep dive call to set a plan and brainstorm writing your top program's essays ***Sample use of 10hrs on 2 applications: 2.5hr strategy call for first top program (plus my prep), 2.5hrs for 2-3 essay edit turns/drafts, 2hrs resume/app/letter of recommendation broad advice and some editing, 45min quick strategy for school 2, ~2hrs for 2-3 essay edit turns/drafts. **applicants vary widely -> Strategy Call to formulate unique stories 1) Strengths and weaknesses analysis for your specific profile - by diving deeply into your personal, professional, community and goal stories 2) Essay question breakdown/strategy based on expertise of what admissions look for; 3) professional advice on formulating your goals tested against real market trends; 4) impact of low GMAT/GPA lower ranked colleges; 5) Winning school selection based on feedback from hundreds of alumni from every program 6) set a timeline/deadlines. A compressed effective strategy call can run from 1-2 hours (Start-to-Finish clients use 2-4hours) the more you have prepared, the faster it can progress. Lightning round essay strategy sessions typically are not helpful for even the best writers because the same mistakes are multiplied across various essays, focusing on one at a time is best practice. ->Essay Edits: Via written feedback/edits, I suggest ways to improve your content, make it succinct, and highlight your personal qualities with strong storytelling to help you stand out. You get each essay iteration from me in ~2 days, same-day closer to deadlines. Each essay turn takes between 15-60min, longer upfront, and once 90% complete, it can be as quick as a 15min review. ->Resume and Online Application: Discuss pointers to write an "MBA" resume and complementary online application aiming for strong language reflecting leadership potential, and ensure it "sells" a consistent profile across your essay and other application materials. Feedback/editing. Resume turns can be from 15-60min each depending on the relevance of the language used for MBA admissions. ->Letters of Recommendation (LOR): Discuss recommender strategy, guidance on approaching the questions recommenders are asked and tips to manage this valuable part of your application. The call and review each typically take 15-30min depending on the number of schools. ->Interview prep: 1) Call to discuss the approach to preparing your answers/delivery using a long list of sample questions (you get those ahead of time) ~30-60min; 2) mock interview over video call using a past actual interview script + interview feedback session ~1 hour. ->Waitlist strategy if applicable: Share best practices of what and how often to communicate with admissions if waitlisted. I hope to inspire confidence by providing frank feedback and making recommendations as needed to form the best possible application. I have been in your shoes and can empathize with wanting to put your best foot forward and get it done. At no time should you feel like unneeded services are being pushed onto you, but the areas we cover are dependent on the amount of questions, how "sticky" details we need to strategize, and your ability to execute on the feedback (for some people it takes more iterations and that is perfectly ok, just takes more coaching). Because it’s hard to predict how many hours an applicant may need, I can not predict if hourly is cheaper than the start-to-finish package. If we are not already working together, an hour CAN NOT be used toward HBS interview prep.

I help guide you tapping my over 10 years of experience to cover as much as possible and asking at each turn if you want to get more detailed in any area. Ultimately you drive the engagement by asking for what you need. We set goals for what you wish to cover, hop on a strategy call and action on that plan. Adjust as you learn where you need more or less help. You get a summary of time used after each call/edit. What counts toward your purchased hours? Time spent preparing for our call in reviewing resume, transcripts, GMAT/GRE, or drafts/previous app essays. Also calls, email responses, and essay edits count toward your total hours purchased. If time runs out, I will provide actionable high-level guidance to apply to the rest independently OR recommend adding more time.
Reduced pricing available on purchases of 7 or more hours - please reach out to me. Purchases of 10+ hours can be rolled from Round 1 to Round 2 or even to the next application year. I know things happen and is here to partner with you until the end.
