Package Description:
What is included in this package? Portfolios are required across almost all companies when applying for design roles. I want to help you refine your portfolio by providing you feedback on your portfolio in a 1 hour review session so that you feel ready and prepared to land a design internship and full time interviews with your refined portfolio. With this package, I’ll coach you through advice to refine your portfolio and equip you with tips that you will apply to future portfolio work in progress. All portfolios are welcome no matter what stage it is at - from concept to drafts to final and looking for improvements! Here’s what we’ll cover: - Portfolio Review: I will provide a comprehensive review with feedback on improving your existing portfolio resume (or getting jump started if you don’t have a portfolio yet). Feedback includes any parts of your portfolio you want to review from the landing page to the various case studies about me.

For this Portfolio Feedback Session Package (1 session), I will offer either live virtual or async options. The live virtual portfolio review will be through a 1 hour session block via Zoom. Async options means that I will send an (1) email with feedback regarding your portfolio. Please let me know which option you prefer in advance. The cost is the same for both! If choosing the live virtual option, please send me your portfolio via chat or through email to: shannon11.6li@gmail.com at least 48 hours in advance so I can review and compile feedback before our scheduled meeting time. If choosing the async option and you have specific points or questions you want me to address regarding your portfolio or a specific date to return feedback by, please let me know once you’ve purchased.

Product design coach for design students and entry level designer
Hey there - I'm Shannon Li, and I'm a product designer with a primary focus on user experience design, with skills in adjacent design disciplines including brand and graphic design! I currently work at Nike as a Designer I based out of New York City, on their Consumer Tools team, working on enterprise tools to support brand marketing teams. I have had previous design internships at Nike, CNN, and Estée Lauder. I graduated from University of Michigan - Ann Arbor recently with my BS and MSI in UX research and design. As an entry level designer and a recent grad, I understand the challenges with navigating design and landing design internships to get your foot through the door. I'm here to help design students and designers within their path in design, which includes the following: + design resume reviews + portfolio reviews for feedback + design internship & job search + portfolio review interviews for internship & job search + general ux/product design - related questions + (potentially) overview on skills using figma / figjam + (potentially) hci graduate school applications Feel free to check out my portfolio as well (shannonlidesign.com)! At the moment, due to timing, I am able to support folks looking for a set of 1-2 hour sessions that span a few weeks than recurring sessions that span longer.
