Package Description:

A fully comprehensive admissions consulting package for those getting started on their MBA admissions journey. End-to-end support with each and every component of the MBA admissions process - giving you the structure, information, motivation, and polish you need to succeed. We'll start from scratch (or start from wherever you're at currently!) and work through the following: 1. Kickoff and planning: A comprehensive review of your profile, your MBA goals, and allllllllll the other context that will feed into your admissions journey. From there, we'll agree on a structured plan and timeline to check off all of your to-dos ahead of your deadlines. 2. School selection: Building your school list, based on your unique goals, preferences, and profile strength. 3. Application strategy: The most important part! In-depth collaboration on your application narrative and how your resume, essays, recommendations, and other components will communicate that narrative to the admissions team. 4. Collaboration on specific components - resume, essays, and recomenders: The bulk of our work together! We'll dig deep on each and every component of your MBA application, including your resume, your essays (overall personal statement, school-specific prompts - all of them), your recommenders, your activities/awards/honors lists, and the remainder of your application. Typically, you'll generate first drafts of these components (leaning on our strategic plan from step 3), and then I'll dig into those drafts and provide actionable feedback; we'll work back-and-forth accordingly until everything is perfect. 5. Final review: We'll take a meticulous look at the entirety of all of your applications and lock everything in. 6. Interview preparation: If/when you're invited for interviews, we'll strategize your approach and practice interview questions (referencing back to your overall application strategy). 7. Admission and decisions: If/when you're admitted to schools on your list, we'll assess your various offers and land on the path that's the best fit for you (including any deferral/waitlist strategy, as needed). No question is too small, no request too big - this is a comprehensive package to address every single tiny component of your MBA application. You don't have to do this alone!

I'm an experienced admissions consultant with almost a decade of expertise navigating elite admissions - for my own admissions processes for undergrad (Harvard) and full-time MBA (incoming Stanford GSB, additional acceptances to Wharton and many others). Outside of my own admissions successes, I've been a professional admissions consultant, beginning in 2016 with my work as an early hire at CollegeVine, one of the leading (undergrad) admissions consultancies in the US. I've formally consulted with, and informally mentored, countless students across both undergrad and grad school, with many acceptances to Ivies+. Regarding MBA admissions: I navigated my own admissions process with a relatively "nontraditional" background, coming from startups and, further back, self-employment. My view on admissions is one rooted in pragmatism and genuineness; let's dispense with some of the trite advice and focus on what your background offers, the story you have to tell, and why you actually want to go to business school. (And even whether you *should* go to business school! Navigating doubt is, in my opinion, an important part of this process as well.) Beyond admissions, I'm a successful startup operator - most recently as the COO of Impactive, a YCombinator-backed political software startup.
