About Dana
I am a certified professional coach specializing in the support of people managers and those looking to transition to people management. I have my BA in Journalism from The Pennsylvania State University, MA in Communication Management from the University of Southern California and a Certificate in Professional Coaching from New York University With over 15 years in the media and adtech space, I have experience building and leading teams at both large organizations, such as Disney and eBay, as well as smaller, early-stage startups. After years of people management in the corporate world, I channeled my passion for helping individuals grow their own careers into my own consulting business, focusing on providing a resource to those new to managing others.
Why do I coach?
I've been so lucky throughout my journey to have supportive champions in my corner. And, having the ability to provide that foundation for those that have worked with me - seeing those I've mentored & coached grow both professionally and personally in their own way is why I do what I do - it has been the greatest joy of my career. I once had a manager tell me that my ability to manage and lead a team was my super power. It never occurred to me before that comment that I could build a business based on my drive to help others grow, but her feedback inspired me to do just that! Eighty-five percent of new managers do not receive any training prior to becoming a manager - a shocking statistic when managers have such a significant impact on overall employee happiness in the workplace. I aim to provide a resource and support to managers to make them efficient, effective and successful.
