Blackstone, Harvard MBA. Recruited for Infrastructure PE without IB.

Experience level: Senior Associate

Open to working with clients outside the U.S.

I landed 6 PE / principal investing offers that I was excited about and ultimately worked at Blackstone's private equity group, focused on infrastructure companies. I avoided working in banking during and post-MBA and had a non-traditional international development background after consulting. It was a lot of self-driven work - modelling and interview practice, industry research and relentless networking - but it is replicable and I can help you do it. I can also generally help with prepping for other Blackstone and private equity interviews, but will be most helpful for career switchers.
