About Wooseok
I am a NYC entertainment lawyer with former experiences as a BigLaw corporate associate, YouTube copyright associate, and published author of a best-selling book. I have served as a coach and mentor to many applicants over the years, providing guidance in law school admissions, essay & resume feedback, LSAT preparation, and general career advice. I also have an international background, living and working in New York, Seoul, Hong Kong, San Francisco Bay Area, Washington D.C. & Philadelphia, which have broadened my perspectives and strengthened my passion for working with applicants that have interesting stories to tell.
Why do I coach?
I strongly believe that everyone has a story, and that with a good coach you can craft a narrative geared towards success in admissions, interviews, and job offers. Having had a variety of different mentors and coaches through the years, I want to share my knowledge with the next generation of law students and coach them to success. I applied to law school with 2 years of professional experience and a respectable LSAT score. However, I knew that I needed a narrative that would give me the edge over other competitive applicants. Ultimately, I strongly believe that it was my unique personal statement combined with other important factors that granted me admission to the top U.S. law schools.
