About Vini Amit
Hi! I'm a international student from Dubai that transferred into Brown University in my junior year. I also recieved acceptances and waitlists from Dartmouth, Yale, Emory, Barnard, Columbia and Upenn. I am also an entrepreneur: I've created a social card game that sparks meaningful conversations between players to help them find their IKIGAI and connect more strongly with each other! The game is currently being used by organizations like Girlscouts, highschools, counselling centers, etc to help people feel more connected to their values.
Why do I coach?
Having mentored international students and friends in the past, I've found that I feel a great sense of fulfilment in helping students that are in similar shoes that I was once in. I love writing and helping with essay narrative is also a way for me to flex my creative energy. I have helped numerous senior high school students craft a compelling narrative and create a strong application package that ensured acceptances to top Ivy League Schools (Yale, Brown and Cornell).

- Assisting Professor Abigail Kohler in “Entrepreneurship Practicum”: editing class slides, designing course content and conducting lectures, mentoring founders with venture progress. - 85% of 30 students or higher reporting that my feedback and explanations greatly aided learning. - Mentored 20+ student teams with their business models, bottom-up research, pitching, fundraising, etc as a peer entrepreneur in residence.

- Selected to participate in Brown's 8-week summer accelerator program for students developing high-impact ventures. - Raised $9,250 in funding and scholarship to develop a card game with introspective questions to connect people with purpose. - Interviewed 50+ people, and consulted 15+ life coaches, game design experts to validate unmet need. - Conducted market analysis, pro-forma financial modeling, competitive analysis, etc. to create a business plan for investors. - Testing prototype with a total of 50+ people at The Wheeler School, Camp Wa-Klo and Brown University’s Career Services.
