Experience level: Vice President

60+ people coached for Leadership Development

Hi There! My name is Vernette Daniel and I am an engineer turned Human Resources executive with 26+ years of experience working for Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries, functional areas and geographies. I formally found my way into the world of HR 11 years ago, but a consistent theme throughout my career has been my passion and ability for helping people and organizations connect the dots that don’t always seem obvious and create realistic roadmaps for desired outcomes. I am a high-achieving, Caribbean-born woman of color who is first in my family to get to the executive level in corporate America. While my work ethic and values have played a major role in my success, they weren’t enough to save me from complete burnout post-pandemic when the demands of senior leadership and “adulting” took their toll. It was then that I was introduced to the power of coaching. It has proven invaluable in helping me reimagine and become the type of executive, leader and overall human I want to be in the world. Now, I bring the totality of these experiences with me as I embark on the exciting new journey of becoming an ICF (International Coaching Federation) certified coach. I am passionate about helping others tap into the infinite resources they possess to unlock their next level of personal and professional development. Whether you're looking to refine your leadership skills, navigate complex organizational dynamics or process a challenging career transition, I'm here to support you. Let's connect and take your leadership journey to the next level! About Vernette

I am an engineer turned Human Resources executive with 26 years of experience working for Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries, functions and geographies. I have held a variety of roles throughout my career (some intentional shifts and some I stumbled into), but one consistent theme throughout my career has been my passion and ability to help people and organizations connect the dots that don’t always seem obvious and create pragmatic roadmaps for desired outcomes. I have led teams and mentored numerous people at different stages of their career and I've spent the last 11 years in HR where I've coached some of the senior-most leaders in my organizations. Late last year, I began the lengthy process of becoming an ICF (International Coaching Federation) certified coach by way of the Hudson Coaching Institute where I am able to further refine my skills add to my coaching toolkit. While not yet certified, I am an experienced, empathetic, “real talk” coach known for curating a safe space for clients to explore and address topics such as (but not limited to): Leadership Effectiveness Career Clarity and Transitions Early Career Acceleration Burnout Prevention and Recovery Imposter Syndrome Work/Life Integration I look forward to helping you take the necessary steps to be the leader you aspire to be and achieve your most audacious goals…and I think we might even laugh a little in the process.

Why do I coach?

As a high-achieving, Caribbean born woman of color who was the first in my family to attain executive level success, hard work and determination have been my default. While my work ethic and values have played a major role in my success, they weren’t enough to save me from ultimate burnout when the demands of senior leadership and “adulting” took their toll. It was then that I was introduced to the real power of coaching the whole person (not just the title on your office door). It has proven invaluable in helping me reimagine and become the type of executive, leader and overall human I want to be in the world. Now, I aspire to help others unlock the their next level of personal and professional growth with intentionality and self awareness.
