About Venkat
I have been in product management for over 13 years and have successfully made the transition from core engineering to product manager. My motivation for making this switch my passion to always understand the Why behind the What. I have dual Masters degree ( MS in Electrical Engineering and MBA from Haas School of Business). My MBA with Haas has had a huge impact in the way i approach problems. During my career, i have had the luck to work for Top Companies and solve exciting problems in the space of Customer data, Platforms, Pricing and Personalization. I bring a strong blend of technical and business acumen to every problem and have successfully shipped impactful products along the way.
Why do I coach?
I love coaching. I was a visiting lecturer when i was in my engineering college and a Teaching Assistant during my master. At work, i run a Product Management learning series for those who want to grow their career as a Product Manager. Given, I have successfully transitioned from a pure technical role to a Product role and got into a top ranked Business School, i would love to share my knowledge on how i went about doing it with others. I look forward to connecting with potential clients and help them along their journey.
