Stetson’s MBA Qualifications
My coaching journey naturally began with my own experience applying to MBA programs both within the US and globally, and I have been able to leverage my unique knowledge to enable students to put their best profile forward for admissions committee. My mix of international and US applications gives me a broader experience base both for students looking to go abroad, or coming from non-traditional US backgrounds. When applying for my MBA, I was dead set on the idea of living abroad and was accepted to Oxford and London Business School in England. A turn of events in my life led me in later application rounds to apply to the Wharton School of Business, a top 3 business school, where I ultimately attended. My successes at these schools, paired with my rejections from Harvard and MIT, enables me to sympathize with your application process and offer real insights based on both the successes and bumps in the road. Another important point is that I myself worked with a third-party coach in preparing my applications, so the dynamic of coaching is not new to me and has enabled me to refine my approach and materials thanks to hundreds of reviews by other experts. My broad experience across schools, and expert-reviewed approach, enables me to truly understand each step they are going through and to empower the students I work to bring forward their best selves.

About Stetson
Currently completing my MBA at the Wharton (University of Pennsylvania), my experience ranges corporate finance, energy, consulting, and real estate. Following my undergrad at Brigham Young University in Utah, (Finance, B.S.), I started my career at ExxonMobil in Corporate Finance. I then made the transition to management consulting at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where I worked in a variety of industries before focusing on Commercial Real Estate. Additionally, while at ExxonMobil and BCG I helped lead campus recruiting efforts including on-campus recruiting, interviews, and offers. As a coach, I've had experience helping candidates craft resumes, prepare pitches, and practice case interviews across industries. My superpower is being able to break down an often complicated process into simple bite-size steps, and helping maximize a candidate profile for their goals, whether it be getting into your perfect school or obtaining a dream job. Together we'll make sure that any admissions committee or recruiter will understand that you're the perfect fit!
Why do I coach?
I coach because my own career is the product of dozens of my mentors and coaches who all helped me get to where I am today. Having been on both the recruiting and interviewing side of the application process, I hope to give back to others as they go through the same experience and help them avoid the same pain points I have encountered.
