Look, most people aren't that funny. Am I that funny? I don't know... sometimes yes, sometimes no. But dammit, work with me and we're going to give it a go at making you funny! Have I performed stand-up and emceed a lot? Yes. Do it generally go well? Most times... one time it was an absolute disaster but we can't all bat a thousand. More sincerely: I've performed a few dozen times for audiences of ranging from 50 - 500. I've also helped a number of others do the same. I'm most helpful on the writing, but I'm decent at helping with timing and delivery. Hire me and I'm here to help you with whatever you're preparing: a stand-up routine, a funny work presentation, a best man's speech.... I'm your guy. I'm god-awful at improv though. Please don't ask me to help with that. I'll pay you to avoid going anywhere near improv. It's a scourge on humanity. Anyway, look forward to talking!

About Sean
Howdy! I'm Sean, a current second-year dual MBA / MPA (Master of Public Administration) student at Stanford GSB and the Harvard Kennedy School. I'm from Houston, Texas and have lived in all over Texas (Austin, Dallas, Houston), in NYC, Boston, and Nairobi. My professional passion is in the workforce/future of work/economic mobility space, and in my personal life I love storytelling, comedy, and distance running. Previously a consultant, I'm now pivoting to get my hands dirty in entrepreneurship! I've worked with mentees on consulting recruiting and led recruiting teams all throughout my six-year consulting career. While at GSB, I've had the honor of helping dozens of classmates shape the authentic (and hopefully entertaining and funny!) stories they want to share with their GSB class. Through this all I've honed a combination of intuition and process that works to bring out the core of a person's story... while making it fun too!! I'm excited to help you out however I can!
Why do I coach?
While at Stanford GSB I've been one of our class's five TALK Coaches; we carry on the TALK tradition by coaching two classmates a week to share their life's story with 250+ peers. Through this and giving my own TALK, I've seen the power that comes from deliberate and painstaking reflection that allows one to shape their own narrative. Sure it's critical for applications, but it also affects our own internal narrative that we tell ourselves about who we are, which has a massive effect on how we show up in the world!
