About Sarmed

I have taken the non-traditional path through-and-through and am eager to help other non-traditional students, job-switchers, and those with social impact or international experience. Before receiving my MBA from Wharton and my MPA from the Kennedy School, I spent four years as an intelligence analyst and an operator for the US government’s international development and diplomacy communities in conflict zones like Afghanistan, Burma, and Libya. After business school, I joined the task force overseeing the federal government’s response to the opioid epidemic where I oversaw the development and implementation of the country’s public health strategy. I also volunteered as an EMT on weekends! During the pandemic, I left federal service to lead strategy at a financial services start-up Pando before joining an insurance start-up Venteur as a founding team member and head of growth.
