Package Description:

- Initial Kickoff & Consultation: Half hour kickoff where we get to know each other! Ideally during this first session I can get a feel for your goals, reasons behind getting an MBA, and start to explore any existing essay drafts that you already have. - Brainstorming Session (Optional): If you are early in the process or want to explore alternative essay approaches we can spend time on a live call working through potential essay outlines and narratives. To prepare for the session, you will send over your current application materials, including your resume and any existing answers to application questions. Prior to our call I'll review these to get a sense of which experience we can pull from in crafting the essay narrative that best communicates your unique story and candidacy. Once on the call we'll dive deep into your background, psyche, and the experiences that have led you to where you are today. My philosophy is that drawing from more than simple professional experiences is the best way to draw a compelling line of reasoning from where you started to where you want to go and *why* the MBA is the important piece that will get you there. - The Essays (My Favorite!) : After reading the draft you send over, we will iteratively review, remix, and ultimately sculpt the ideal essay. This process will include async reviews of essays plus live sessions to go over edits as needed. Generally, expect this to be 2 rounds of revisions over a couple of weeks. - Resume Review: Send over your resume and I'll give async feedback on ways to improve the communication of your impact, formatting, and ensure that it aligns with the stories we include in the essays. - Repeat for each school essay set! Also can do the revision rounds in parallel if you happen to be doing all of your essays at once.
