My journey began at Zynga, where I developed financial models and dashboards, and continued through roles at OpenTable and PayPal, focusing on financial transactions and product management. About Nelson
I’m a product manager who started my career in finance before making the leap into tech. That background taught me how to dig deep into data, work with all kinds of stakeholders, and streamline complex processes, skills I now use to build products that solve real customer problems. These days, you’ll find me working at the intersection of business, technology, and customer needs… or hunting down the best coffee in town while reading up on the latest fintech trends.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I remember how hard it was to break into product management. Every PM job asked for, “5+ years of PM experience” which made no sense, how are you supposed to get experience if no one will give you a shot? I eventually figured out how to tell my story in a way that made hiring managers say yes, and since then I’ve worked at PayPal, Doordash, and CashApp. Now I enjoy helping others do the same: transition into a PM role, grow in their careers, and navigate the job market.
