Nate has helped clients get into these schools:

I had 2 goals in business school: to start a company and to help prospective applicants feel comfortable and confident applying to business school. At the GSB, I worked as an Admissions Ambassador, doing 1on1 coffee chats, group sessions, admit weekends, leadership days, and more with applicants from all over the world. Leading Dream Big Lead Boldly (DBLB), an event that demystifies the business school experience for prospective applicants who identify as Black, is the work in business school that I'm most proud of and that brought me the most joy. I've spent countless hours supporting the people that I've met through these programs. Now that I have graduated, I want to continue to share what I've learned from working with Admissions and from hearing so many amazing stories from people like you.

About Nate

I am a recent grad from Stanford GSB, where I was an Admissions Ambassador and Co-President of the Entrepreneurship Club. For both years at the GSB, I ran Dream Big Lead Boldly, an annual event aimed to demystify the business school experience for hundreds of prospective applicants. I still currently work for the GSB part-time through the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. I came to Stanford to pursue entrepreneurship... and I'm doing just that! After being awarded a competitive social entrepreneurship fellowship from Stanford's Center for Social Innovation over the summer, I am now co-founding a company with a recent HBS grad :) In a full circle moment, I recently submitted my first letters of recommendation for business school for an employee of my company. My journey to business school would be considered "non-traditional." I spent 7 years at the same enterprise software company, starting my career in sales, transitioning into sales engineering, and then landing in business development. I'm a Bay Area transplant, but a Boston-native who loves Dunkin' Donuts and Boston sports too much. I'm at my happiest with a guitar or ukulele in my hand.

Why do I coach?

As somebody who has made several career transitions, I’ve always loved helping people figure out how to get from where they are to where they want to be. At Box, I started an employee resource group to help young professionals across the globe navigate the next steps in their career. I took those learnings and built a staffing marketplace on the side that helped people making career transitions gain professional experience in their new fields. At Stanford, I’ve found joy in helping prospective applicants realize the merits of their unique story. When I was applying to business school, I found the process to be daunting. I doubted my own abilities and qualifications. I’ve since learned that there is much more to the application process than GMAT scores, specific job titles, or name brands on the resume. I hope to share those learnings with you.
