Michael has helped clients get into these schools:
I am a current student of the Kellogg School of Management, with previous work experience within management consulting and in two high growth startups in NYC . I graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor of science in Finance and received my masters degree in Information Systems and Operations Management. After school, I spent some time at management consulting firm Guidehouse Consulting before I transitioned to a Series B Unicorn food tech startup called Gorillas - the fastest European startup to ever reach a $1B valuation. I led the growth function at Gorillas for one year until I was offered the opportunity to lead North American expansion for micro-mobility startup Zoomo. At Zoomo I led our expansion into new markets, including launching our first Canadian operations. As an applicant from an over-represented demographic with a sub-optimal GMAT score and a lack of "prestigious" work experience I was able to navigate the application process and successfully land multiple top business school admits. As a coach, I plan to teach you the tips and tricks necessary to be successful in the ultra-competitive business school admissions cycle. I had immense success with gaining admission to a number of M7 and Top 10 schools including Kellogg, Yale, and Dartmouth Tuck. Areas I feel I can particularly bring value in coaching include: MBA Coaching: - Crafting a compelling and cohesive story (theme) for your application even with an untraditional work background or sub-optimal GMAT / GRE score. - Helping you stand out to the admissions committee as an over-represented applicant - Writing compelling and effective essays - 6+ month out application plan with a detailed breakdown of your application journey schedule - Preparing for interviews (Mock Interviews) - School and recommender selection advice

About Michael
I am a current student at the Kellogg School of Management, with previous work experience in venture capital, management consulting and two high-growth startups in NYC. I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and obtained a Master's degree in Information Systems and Operations Management. After completing my studies, I spent some time at the management consulting firm Guidehouse Consulting before transitioning to Gorillas, a Series B Unicorn food tech startup. Gorillas became the fastest European startup to reach a $1B valuation. During my time at Gorillas, I led the growth function for one year before being offered the opportunity to lead North American expansion at Zoomo, a micro-mobility startup. At Zoomo, I spearheaded our expansion into new markets, including the successful launch of our first Canadian operations. As an applicant from an over-represented demographic with a sub-optimal GMAT score and a perceived lack of "prestigious" work experience, I successfully navigated the application process and secured admission to multiple top business schools. As a coach, I plan to share the tips and tricks necessary to thrive in the highly competitive business school admissions cycle. I achieved significant success in gaining admission to several M7 and Top 10 schools, including Kellogg, Yale, and Dartmouth Tuck. The areas in which I believe I can provide valuable coaching include: MBA Coaching: -Crafting a compelling and cohesive story (theme) for your application, even with an unconventional work background or sub-optimal GMAT/GRE score. -Assisting you in standing out to the admissions committee as an over-represented applicant. -Writing compelling and effective essays. -Creating a comprehensive application plan with a detailed breakdown of your journey schedule, starting six or more months before the application deadline. -Preparing for interviews through mock interviews. -Providing advice on selecting schools and recommenders.
Why do I coach?
Having personally experienced the immense value of having coaches during the business school application process, I have been profoundly influenced and inspired to pay it forward. Recognizing the impact they had on my own success, I feel a strong desire to give back by offering my guidance, support, and expertise to aspiring business school applicants. By sharing my knowledge and insights, I hope to empower others on their journeys, enabling them to navigate the complexities of the application process with confidence and achieve their own goals of gaining admission to prestigious business schools.
