About Mavrick

Since graduating from Chicago Booth, I have spoken to hundreds of applicants at Admissions events in person and virtually. I enjoy sharing my story of turning adversity in life into a Chemical Engineering degree from UCLA and a top-tier MBA. I started my career at Anheuser-Busch, starting as a production supervisor in the Los Angeles Brewery and working my way up to the Corporate Innovations team where I was responsible for the launch of our craft and flavored-malt-beverage new products. After Booth I made the transition to business consulting, working for ZS where I worked on a wide array of projects, from creating the go-to-market strategy for a new drug with an orphan-indication (reserved for rare diseases without mass-market potential), to optimizing sales operations for one of the best selling drugs in the world. I left the world of large firms and joined a phenomenal boutique consulting firm, where I have led large-scale transformations for some of the largest companies in the world, while maintaining a solid work-life balance. As a coach, I am here to ensure that you command the room in your interview. It is tragic when a great message is lost in poor delivery, so I will help you increase your poise to ensure you have maximum impact in any situation.
