About Matthew
Experienced director of medical school admissions coach/consultant with countless client acceptances to top tiered medical schools, MD/PhD programs, DO programs, Texas schools, BS/MD advising, and successful reapplications. I also have extensive experience with successful international student acceptances. Client acceptances have ranged from 2.7-4.0+ GPA and 490-525+ MCAT. Client acceptances include Harvard, Stanford, UPenn, Hopkins, Yale, UCSF, UCLA, UTSW, Mayo Clinic, etc. As a Goldwater and Tylenol Scholar, I am personally a former MD/PhD student with multiple acceptances. University of Pennsylvania graduate, Stanford/UPenn residency, top tier orthopedic hand surgery fellowship. I currently practice as a hand/wrist/elbow/microsurgeon in St Louis, Missouri.
Why do I coach?
Medical school admissions is complicated, constantly changing, and most students need some form of assistance in navigating the application. I love helping clients achieve their dreams. Some of the greatest satisfaction I derive is when my clients get accepted to their top choices and I see them ultimately pursue the same path I have loved thus far. I am a no nonsense surgeon - my approach is to give you the best, most practical advice possible. I believe in setting and managing sincere expectations. My clients who listen generally are very successful.
