As an undergraduate researcher, contributed to the lab's goal of identifying the hormonal requirements for normal regeneration of the uterine lining after menstruation and pregnancy. Completed an honors thesis entitled "Dissecting the contributions of androgens to postpartum endometrial regeneration".

Worked under the supervision of Dr. Ann-Christine Duhaime, director of pediatric neurosurgery at MGH, to create a compelling argument for the construction of a "green" children's hospital in Boston: as a final product, co-created an interactive map of children's hospitals in the United States that demonstrates the location of existing sustainably-designed pediatric facilities alongside nationwide demographic and environmental conditions. Funded by the Harvard University Center for the Environment.
