I spent 10 years in the media and entertainment space in Los Angeles before I became a Career and Executive Coach, full-time. I started in feature animation production (DreamWorks Animation), moved to casting for film & TV, then went back to DWA as a C Level Executive Assistant and HR Admin, then moved to supporting a friend with a small corporate media company (events, think Vegas global sales conference) while acting and writing full-time, and then moved to recruiting interns (undergrad, JD and MBA) and entry level hires for the Walt Disney Studios, Lucasfilm and ILM. This included roles in production, animation (artists), VFX, marketing and brand management, brand partnerships, music licensing, art archiving, story/development and continuity, production finance, business development, corporate strategy and more! Whether you have questions about pivoting into a traditional "business" function within the entertainment world, are looking for an internship, or are wondering what it takes to be successful (financially) in a creative arena, I am happy to answer any and all questions.
