About Johna

I help new and rising leaders unlock their unique leadership brand, leveraging 10+ years of marketing and executive consulting experience. I began my career in NYC, advising CEOs and Board Directors on executive compensation design and strategy. This role honed my executive presence and communication skills, enabling me to effectively present to C-Suite executives and board members. I transitioned into tech, working across various-size companies at Google, Dropbox, and Patreon. I built expertise in product marketing, launching new products and crafting compelling narratives. Combining my background in executive consulting, marketing, and my coaching training from the Co-Active Training Institute, I partner with leaders to uncover and express their authentic brand, driving influence and impact. I have my BA in Economics from Cornell University, and MBA from Berkeley Haas. Outside of work, you can find me cooking Korean food, dancing, or exploring new places with my partner and dog.

Why do I coach?

I got into coaching because I experienced firsthand being part of an organization with a less than ideal leader. I was part of a team of high performers, but could see those around me suffering from the lack of strong leadership. I offered some coaching sessions to my colleagues and noticed a big change in how they showed up after just a few sessions, and was hooked. I believe a strong coaching relationship can help you build confidence, show up authentically, and take empowered action toward your goals.
