10+ people coached for Software Engineering
During my undergraduate years at Duke, I was able to secure internships at Amazon, Capital One, and Tanium. I was also deep in the interview pipeline for multiple other big tech companies. I received a return offer wherever I interned and have also worked at various high-growth startups as a founding / secondary engineer in the realms of healthcare and FinTech. I have informally coached countless friends and peers on applying to tech companies to secure internships/job offers. I also worked in the Duke Career Center, where I was the go-to contact for all questions and materials regarding SWE job applications, resume editing, and nailing the technical/behavioral interview.

About Jason
Background: - Duke University, B.S. in Computer Science and Statistics (2024) - Columbia Business School, MBA (Expected Matriculation in 2028) About Me: I graduated from Duke in May 2024, double majoring in Computer Science and Statistics. During my time in college, I interned with Amazon and AWS and was highly involved with the university through its community engagements and professional network. I was also admitted to Columbia Business School through the 2024 Deferred Enrollment Program. I'm an engineer by trade but a storyteller at heart. I seek to inspire others through insightful conversations and equally meaningful action plans. I value personal growth and a commitment to excellence. I believe gaining new perspectives is necessary for self and community success. I hope to work with you to achieve your personal and professional goals!
Why do I coach?
Individual experiences come together to constitute our life stories and narratives. However, not many people take the time to reflect on what makes them "themselves", and even fewer people are good at truly objective introspection. This unfortunate fact is so common during admissions cycles and job recruitment; people try to write what they think makes them look good over what they're truly passionate about. For me, the most valuable task is to ask the tougher questions, find better answers, and help individuals articulate their most authentic thoughts.
