About Jarnickae

I'm Jarnickae, a student pursuing a joint MBA and MS in Engineering Sciences at Harvard Business School, where I'm working on financial technologies and services that will help positively shape financial behavior and improve financial outcomes and opportunity for those who need it most. I'm passionate about improving financial literacy, particularly for low and middle income communities around the world. by leveraging technology. Impactful financial technology is a direct bet on human ingenuity and flourishing. Prior to matriculating at Harvard, I was a Trader and Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where I was focused on asset-secured lending, particularly to financial counterparties such as Private Equity and Private Credit funds. During my time at Goldman Sachs, I was also involved in trading a variety of credit assets, including Credit Derivatives, Collateralized Loan Obligations, and Corporate bonds. Earlier, I was a Cross Asset Strategist at J.P. Morgan, within their Global Markets division. I graduated from the University of Chicago in 2017 with a BA in Physics and a Finance certificate from the Booth School of Business. I am a published co-author in the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization. I have also served on the board of Kura Labs, a non-profit Cloud Infrastructure Computing Workforce Training Academy since 2020. In addition, over the last 8 years, I have built extensive experience recruiting, mentoring, and training. I have been a regular interviewer at both J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs for a range of full-time and summer internship positions. I have also served as a hiring manager and formal manager at Goldman Sachs.
