Is any specific ability attributable to nature or nurture? The answer is easy and obvious, it's both. While one can learn to do almost everything through practice, one cannot ignore the evidence that some people are born with specific abilities. Both my father and grandfather are published political science writers, and though I did not inherit my father's painting abilities or my grandfather's carpentry skills, I have inherited an incredible ability to tell stories for MBA and other business school programs, and have also mastered the GMAT. In the GMAT I equip me with a robust toolkit to identify and deal with every single type of problem that may come your way.
