About Diane
I'm a Biomedical PhD turned life science industry professional, with 3+ years in equity research and corp dev in large corporation (Goldman Sachs) and private startup (>$650M in funding) settings. I have worked with other STEM graduates who have landed highly competitive roles in biotech/pharma, including top equity research and VC firms. My undergraduate mentees have also gone on to highly competitive PhD and MD programs. My Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering is from Columbia University and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from UCLA. Look forward to discussing and uncovering your potential together!
Why do I coach?
I have been passionate about professional development since my own PhD studies, where I was an active proponent for graduate students exploring their future career options. What I find is that so many qualified and talented candidates are often underselling their capabilities and achievements - especially coming out of academia, where the language and mindset is a little different. Pivoting into the industry takes a little bit of frame shift. The truth is, it's not easy, especially in the current economy. It's also NEVER TOO LATE to take hold of your future direction. I am excited to be here and be your coach and partner in that endeavor.
