Connor has helped clients get into these schools:

I take a highly supportive approach to coaching and aim to create an environment in which my clients can be completely open about their worries so I can be the best possible coach for them. That said, you can expect me to be constructively candid – because coaching is about challenging you and accelerating your growth, not making you feel good so I can collect a check. Besides sitting on Northwestern's alumni admissions council, I was an interviewer at both Google and Facebook, so I've spent many hours "on the other side of the table" and can give you a strong sense for how you might be perceived by interviewers and admissions committees. I enjoy coaching people from a huge range of backgrounds, but I specialize in coaching folks from lower-income families, LGBTQ+ candidates, and those from unconventional backgrounds trying to thrive in tech. I myself came from a low-income family and needed help getting connected to resources that would make college feasible for me – I can help you do the same.

About Connor

Hi, I'm Connor 👋  I'm a curious and ambitious person with a strong belief in technology's potential to drive meaningful societal change at unprecedented scale. Before pursuing my MBA at Stanford GSB, I spent half a decade engaged in a range of technology topics at Google, Nest, YouTube, Facebook and Tesla. Now, I'm pursuing my lifelong dream of building my own startup 🚀 I'm a systems thinker with wide exposure to business and technical challenges and an appetite for learning. As an undergrad at Northwestern, I took on 11 internships to gain my uniquely diverse vantage point, and I’ve continued to prioritize breadth of experience in my career. I've held roles in product, ops, venture investing, BD, consulting, policy and product marketing. I love wearing many hats and tend to work well with folks who have a wide range of interests, too.

Why do I coach?

I grew up in a low-income family with turmoil and conflict, further exacerbated by being queer in a conservative place. Figuring out my path to college and career wasn't easy and, frankly, the journey hasn't always been smooth sailing. But I've had countless coaches who have helped me along the way. And with their help, I've hit my stride and am now achieving things I only ever dreamed of. I have seen firsthand how having someone in your corner can make a huge difference. Let me be that person in your corner. ⚠️ If you're an educator or currently enrolled student, please mention this when reaching out to receive discounted pricing.
