Bruce has helped clients get into these companies:
I bring a wealth of experience and a proven track record in guiding students towards successful careers in the tech finance industry. With a background in FP&A and corporate strategy, I've honed my expertise to help over 100 individuals fine-tune their resumes and interview skills, leading to placements at some of the world's foremost companies. My particular strength lies in facilitating individuals’ entry into tech companies, where I've achieved outstanding results. I'm proud to have played a pivotal role in securing offers for my clients at prestigious tech giants, such as Microsoft and Amazon, among many others. Having received and worked for these tech companies myself, I am able to provide insider insights for what they are looking for. My deep understanding of the tech finance landscape and my commitment to empowering individuals make me an ideal coach for those aspiring to excel in this competitive field.
About Bruce
Originally from Vancouver Washington, I am extremely grateful for the mentors and coaches I have had in my life and want to give back through contributing to others success here on Leland. Tech & Finance: My education and work experiences guided me to develop a keen interest in the tech industry. I was able to develop as a proactive team contributor through my internship with Microsoft, where I supported the Xbox finance team. I have worked for nearly a year at Motivosity (tech start-up) as a senior finance analyst and I will be returning to Microsoft as a Finance Analyst in their rotational program. Deferred MBA: I will be attending the University of Chicago to get my MBA sometime in the next 2-5 years. I was admitted through the deferred MBA application process. After interviewing at Chicago, Stanford, and other schools I can say that I have gained a deep understanding of how to succeed in the world of deferred MBA's. Leadership: I studied Finance at Brigham Young University, where I had the privilege of serving as the President of the BYU Finance Society.
Why do I coach?
Coaching is a passion I've embraced after experiencing its transformative power in my own life. Having received invaluable guidance from mentors, I've seen how it can profoundly impact one's journey. This inspired me to help others, and I've already assisted hundreds of individuals. What brings me immense joy is witnessing others succeed and grow. My coaching approach is marked by directness and honesty, as I believe it's essential for individuals to reach their full potential. In summary, I coach because I've personally benefited from coaching and have found great satisfaction in guiding others to success. My commitment to direct, honest coaching is my way of helping individuals unlock their hidden potential and achieve their goals.
