Ayon’s ACT Qualifications
Scored a 36 on the ACT
I am an expert in standardized testing, having earned a 36 on the ACT, as well as perfect scores on the GMAT and the Math & Reading sections of the SAT. I have a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and Applied Math from Johns Hopkins University and I currently work as a Product Manager in New York City. In addition to having tutored math and standardized tests throughout high school and college, I am a mentor to high school students through Minds Matter and participate in Pro Bono projects at work. As a coach, I believe that understanding the structure of the test itself is as important as knowing the content tested. I'm an enthusiastic and patient teacher who will work with you to develop a studying and testing approach that best fits your learning style.

About Ayon
Hi, welcome to my profile! I'm Ayon and I want to help you achieve your admissions goals from preparing your standardized tests to clicking "Submit". I have a knack for standardized tests, having achieved multiple perfect scores: 36/36 composite on the ACT, 1600/1600 on the Math + Verbal section of the old SAT, and most recently an 805/805 on the new GMAT. I would love to help you achieve your target score on whichever test you're looking to take (SAT, ACT, GMAT, GRE). When it comes to standardized tests, I've found that understanding the test itself is as important as knowing the content tested. I hope to work with you to build this intuition for whichever standardized test you're taking. When we start working together, I want to understand how you approach problem solving. Doing this will allow me to determine the best approach to help make solving these problems stress-free and intuitive. I would also love to help you with your academic admissions journey, whether for undergraduate or MBA admissions. I have achieved strong admissions outcomes at both levels and would be able to help you navigate the often murky and confusing expectations during admissions. This includes essay review, narrative crafting, advising on recommender selection, and any thing else comprising the application process. I graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and Applied Mathematics, and for the past three years have been working as a Product Manager in New York City. Recently I was admitted to three top-7 MBA programs (Northwestern Kellogg, University of Chicago Booth, and Columbia Business School) with a combined $200K in scholarships. Outside of coaching/tutoring, I mentor high school students about the college admissions process through Minds Matter and participate in Pro Bono projects through work.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I think that information gaps are one of the key drivers often preventing talented, driven people from achieving their goals. In my standardized testing & admissions journeys I have benefited from mentors who helped me build an intuition allowing me to truly understand how to approach problems or understand processes. No matter how much content I learned and practiced, if it wasn't for this intuition I would have fallen short of my goals. I want to help you build this intuition for yourself to empower you to achieve your dreams.
