Ayon’s ACT Qualifications
Scored a 36 on the ACT
I am an expert in standardized testing, having earned a 36 on the ACT, as well as perfect scores on the GMAT and the Math & Reading sections of the SAT. I have a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and Applied Math from Johns Hopkins University and I currently work as a Product Manager in New York City. In addition to having tutored math and standardized tests throughout high school and college, I am a mentor to high school students through Minds Matter and participate in Pro Bono projects at work. As a coach, I believe that understanding the structure of the test itself is as important as knowing the content tested. I'm an enthusiastic and patient teacher who will work with you to develop a studying and testing approach that best fits your learning style.

About Ayon
Hi! I'm Ayon and I want to help you achieve your target standardized test scores. I have a knack for standardized tests, having achieved multiple perfect scores: 36/36 composite on the ACT, 1600/1600 on the Math + Verbal section of the old SAT, and most recently an 805/805 on the new GMAT. I would love to help you achieve your target score on whichever test you're looking to take (SAT, ACT, GMAT, GRE). Preparing for a standardized test can be a very frustrating process, and I want to do everything I can to make this a simpler, easier process. When it comes to standardized tests, I've found that taking a strategic approach and understanding the test itself is as important as knowing the content tested. I hope to work with you to build this intuition for whichever standardized test you're taking. When we start working together, I want to understand how you think and approach problem solving. This will involve walking through a few sample questions with no time pressure. Doing this will allow me to determine the best approach to help make solving these problems stress-free and intuitive. I have formally tutored throughout high school and college, and I currently mentor high school students through Minds Matter and regularly work on Pro Bono projects with small business owners. This means I have experience in teaching and explaining difficult concepts to a broad age range of high schoolers to adults. I graduated with a honors from Johns Hopkins University with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and Applied Mathematics, and I work as a Product Manager in New York City.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I think that information gaps are one of the key drivers preventing otherwise highly talented, driven people from achieving their goals. In my standardized testing journeys I have benefited from mentors who helped me build an intuition allowing me to truly understand how to approach problems. No matter how much content I learned and practiced, if it wasn't for this test taking intuition, I would have fallen short of my goals. I want to help you build this intuition as well.
