About Ashley
I'm a Stanford GSB alum and ex-Bain consultant. I currently lead the strategy team at Faire and most recently worked as a venture capitalist at Lightspeed Venture Partners. I spend a few hours of my spare time each week coaching others, as I have greatly benefited from coaching myself and want to 'pay it forward.' My experience in admissions counseling started directly out of undergrad when I provided college counseling to high school students at The American School in Switzerland (in exchange for free room and board!). Over the years, I have formally and informally coached colleagues, friends, and family members through their application process. I have also volunteered as an admissions consultant for prospective students from underprivileged backgrounds. Students I've worked with have been admitted to MBA programs at Stanford, Harvard, and Duke. I love working with applicants to craft their story, wordsmith essays, and refine their CV. I am a sharp listener and have a knack for pithy and punchy language. I can help with: -Crafting your story / identifying key themes -Wordsmithing and editing -School selection I especially love working with ex-consultants and people in tech.
