Arun’s MBA Qualifications

30+ people coached for MBA

Arun has helped clients get into these schools:

I am an MBA mentor with several years of undergraduate and MBA coaching experience. I take a holistic approach to MBA coaching, seeking to leverage each of my student's unique strengths and experiences to create compelling applications with consistent themes. I structure my sessions by creating a detailed plan to help my students plan end-to-end, from initial brainstorming to final touches, then using our sessions to clarify objectives and brainstorm together. I have experience through several years of teaching students in MBA (traditional and deferred) and undergraduate application processes, work experience at Google and McKinsey (and others, as listed in my bio), and a Wharton deferred MBA acceptance. I have a special interest in supporting students in the deferred process and supporting students with a non-traditional background, like myself. If you're interested in working with me, please reach out to setup a free consultation call so we can see if we're a fit!

About Arun

Hi - My name is Arun, and I'm excited to support you in your MBA application journey! I've had significant experience coaching students in both MBA application creation (planning and ideation all the way to final touches) and GMAT preparation. I specialize in creating targeted applications, helping my students find compelling themes in their profile and interweave their unique strengths throughout their applications and essays. I especially enjoy helping deferred MBA students and MBA students with nontraditional backgrounds (like me!) create outstanding applications. I'm also passionate about helping students in their job and internship search in Consulting, Software Engineering, and Investment Banking - see my experience below. My experience comes from work experience (full-time and internships) at Google - Software Engineering, McKinsey & Co. - Business Analyst/Consulting, Cato - Economic Policy, the National Security Agency - Cybersecurity Analyst, and Alumni Ventures - Venture Fellow. I also received an offer to, but did not work for, Evercore - Investment Banking, Amazon - Software Engineering, Microsoft - Software Engineering, and more. Relating to MBA processes, I was accepted to Wharton as a Deferred MBA admit and scored a 775 GMAT Focus, 36 ACT, and 1580 SAT. Please reach out for a free consultation to see if we're a fit and discover how I can help you!

Why do I coach?

Coaching is deeply fulfilling for me because it allows me to give back and support others on their unique journeys, in the same way that my mentors supported me. My diverse experiences, from work at Google and McKinsey to my Wharton acceptance, have equipped me with valuable insights and practical knowledge that I am eager to share. Coaching provides a platform to foster growth, inspire confidence, and help mentees navigate their challenges and aspirations. Witnessing their progress and celebrating their achievements is incredibly rewarding, and I am passionate about making a meaningful impact in their professional and personal development.
