Package Description:
When I was recruiting for management consulting, a recruiter told me that most new hires had done at least 30 practice case interviews. Amongst my peers, the anecdotal number is 50. This bulk package is for those who want to commit the time to give them the best chances at nailing the interviews and receiving an offer. These sessions are customized to your case interview needs and challenge areas, and can include: - Strengths/weaknesses assessment - Overview of crucial case interview skills - Walkthrough of different types of cases (from the ubiquitous to the rare curveballs) - Instruction on foundational business acumen (functional grasp of financial statements, investment basics, industry overviews, etc.) - Drills for individual components (problem structuring/framework development, mental math, brainstorming, etc.) - Lots of full cases with feedback This package is more of a choose-your-own-adventure, and I'd be happy to develop a custom curriculum with you. In terms of suggested volume, I'd recommend the following: 5 hours: Test run/confidence building 10 hours: Inform and augment other preparation (for example, for students in on-campus consulting clubs) 20 hours or more: A true guide on breaking into consulting, especially from non-business industries (e.g. military, arts, sciences)
