About Alec
I have always felt a calling to mentor others. My coaching journey started during undergrad as I acted a pre-health mentor for high school students wishing to begin their college education toward a career in medicine. Once I started my MPH I began working closely with the admissions department and prospective students during application process. My love of mentorship continued as a PA student at Rutgers University as I would lead tours and act as a student representative on interview panels. Rutgers had a Big Sibs program in which upperclassmen mentored first-year PA students. I had a close relationship with my Little Sib and constantly would help him toward success in PA school. My passion continued as a practicing PA as I have taken on more than one lead provider role which has allowed me to spearhead the training of new advanced practice providers to set them up for success in their jobs. I plan to continue coaching others through my professional career so that everyone seeking my help is able to be the most successful PA possible.
Why do I coach?
I have always highly regarded those I have worked with who have a myriad of experience and guidance to offer. Many mentors in my life have helped me reach my professional goals and I owe much of my own success to the valuable lessons they taught me. I have wanted to do the same for those coming up behind me to ensure that the next generation of PAs is well-equipped to handle the academic and professional journey. I am here for you! I want you to be successful and will be your biggest cheerleader along the way!
