I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Medical Science degree at Butler University and hold multiple academic appointments, including as an adjunct faculty member at prestigious institutions such as Yale University and the Medical University of South Carolina. These roles have allowed me to guide and mentor students, shaping future Physician Assistants by teaching critical courses like clinical problem-solving, emergency medicine, and holistic well-being. In addition to my academic experience, I have over a decade of hands-on clinical practice as a Physician Assistant specializing in emergency medicine at Trident Health Systems. My clinical expertise has provided me with a deep understanding of patient care, acute emergencies, and minor surgical procedures. This practical knowledge allows me to offer students real-world insights and guidance as they prepare for their clinical rotations and future careers. My experience in academic advising and student mentorship further enhances my ability to connect with and support students. I have worked with students at various stages of their education, offering guidance in coursework, clinical rotations, and professional development. Having been nominated for multiple teaching excellence awards, I am committed to fostering student growth and success, which I would bring to my role as a PA Coach at Leland.
